Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of UK Residency Tracker at trackresidency.com (“the service”), which is run by [full name] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read the Privacy Policy.
What the service is, and isn’t
The service helps you record trips abroad and estimate dates for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and British citizenship, based on the information you enter and our reading of published Home Office guidance.
It is not legal or immigration advice. The rules change, individual circumstances vary, and the calculations may contain errors. Always check against the current official guidance on GOV.UK, and get advice from a regulated immigration adviser or solicitor before you make an application or travel plans that depend on these dates.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over and give an email address you control.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- Only enter your own information.
- You can delete your account at any time from Pathway → Account.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service. That includes trying to access other people’s accounts, disrupting or overloading it, probing it for vulnerabilities without permission, or using it for anything unlawful.
Your data
Your data stays yours. We only use it to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your trips as a CSV at any time.
Availability
The service is provided free of charge, “as is”. We aim to keep it running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or stop the service. If we plan to shut it down, we’ll try to give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from relying on the service’s calculations, including refused or delayed applications, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited under the law of England and Wales. If you use the service as a consumer, these terms don’t affect your statutory rights.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
